I’ve seen Jaylen Brown take meetings with legislative leaders and advocate for meaningful juvenile justice reform. He was prepared with economic, social emotional and developmental, and statistical arguments. I have done work with his foundation (he comes from a family of PHDs, scholars, and educators). He has built complex organization, recruited talented individuals to them, and has great vision. I’ve spent time wit him and his mother, and his mother stories are the most telling. Jaylen at his core is an academic with a deep passion for STEAM. He is incredibly intelligent, strategic, creative, adaptive, and thinks critically. You couldn’t be more wrong

This is a completely unacceptable use of force and mobilization of paramilitary and military forces against Black Americans. We know what the intention of the Federal Takeover of DC is about. Benny Johnson made it clear. They want to incite dissent, violence, and disorder in order to justify the eradication of Black and Brown neighborhoods in DC. We are living in a police state. The @TheDemocrats need to join the fight and explicitly fight this during the shutdown fight next month. It will start with DC and then it will grow to all major cities.
