The only solace for cannabis policy reform advocates is the fact that 2022 is an election year for all 24 senators. Those who voted against HB 629 will have a lot of explaining to do if they are running for re-election. 2/2

In #cannabis policy, most agree it's important to learn from other states. So here's one such lesson. <U+0001F9F5> In 2016, a #VT Senate Committee advanced a bill that would have legalized cannabis and established a regulated market. But the bill did not include home cultivation. 1/8

Does legalizing cannabis increase use by adolescents? This study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association says the impact has been “statistically indistinguishable from zero.” Somebody tell @GovChrisSununu and @TheNHSenate? #NHPolitics https://t.co/pHAyCaNGbB

@TheNHSenate @SenJeb If somebody actually died from consuming cannabis laced with fentanyl, wouldn't this lead a reasonable person to prefer a regulated market? There is no risk of fentanyl in liquor, but that's only because it is regulated. (Alcohol used to often be laced with opiates or cocaine.)

Patients in the "Empire State" will soon be allowed to grow their own cannabis. I'm very happy for them, but I'm sad that this is still a felony for patients in the "Live Free or Die" state. #nhpolitics https://t.co/UGpIyLsBeA
