And I have no intention of stopping either, at least not until the anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ+ legislation does. https://t.co/TnhvxbTAmU

Yesterday the Senate passed SB43, which harms some of our most vulnerable Arkansans. It<U+2019>s cruel, it<U+2019>s unconstitutional, and it's about bullying <U+2014> not governing. Trans Arkansans deserve better. I will continue to fight for their rights and the rights of every person in this state. https://t.co/VvACkilFDX

LGBTQ Arkansans: I know this legislative session is already off to a rough start, given the offensive bill filed this week. Please know that you have allies in the Arkansas legislature. We value you for exactly who you are and will do everything we can to fight for you.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be our first female Governor. She will be subject to much more scrutiny for the way she looks than any Governor we've ever had. That's not right or fair.

SB354, which targets transgender girls who participate in high school athletics, just passed the Senate 28-7. This bill is illegal and puts Arkansas on the losing side of a lawsuit. Even worse, it’s wrong, hurts vulnerable kids, and puts Arkansas on the wrong side of history.

Hated not to be in LR, but Fayetteville put on an amazing show and party. Proud to stand as an ally with some incredible people, all of whom deserve, equity, equal rights, and love. Happy #Pride2021 https://t.co/1QFxJTpQrZ

Today, the Arkansas Senate passed HB1570, which prohibits necessary healthcare for transgender teenagers. This bill flat breaks my heart. 1/

I cried tears of joy walking inside our church for the first time in over a year. Thought I was done but cried about five more times. Outdoor and virtual services are nice, but I didn’t realize how badly I needed to be back in that space. Happy Easter from our family to yours! https://t.co/SGIrqA9cuO

To those of you out there wondering whether you belong, please know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you do. And that there are legislators in your State Capitol who think you matter, who are fighting for you, and who love you just the way you are. 5/5
