Right to Work has passed the Senate. In order to defeat it in the House, it will take a maximum effort by all. Remember that the union movement did a lot for the working class. Let's not forget it.

Our beloved cleaning woman at the State House, Donna Jones, fell while working and had to be taken to the hospital. She is a lovely woman, does a great job, and is as kind a human being as you could find. I hope she gets well quickly and returns to us at the State House.
Big news. The New Balance Shoe Company is planning to come to New Hampshire. Jobs will be created, and manufacturing will return.
I lost a close vote in the Senate today that would have allowed a recruitment and retention strategy to be put in place by the State Office of Personnel. With an almost 20% vacancy rate, we need to push to fill jobs. This would have really helped.

One can't say enough about our dedicated state employees working under most difficult conditions to answer the needs of NH citizens. We are lucky to have them.
