Some have turned to selling mixed-drinks for off-premise consumption, which current law prohibits. While that may make sense under a normal regulatory environment, theres nothing normal about this current situation and businesses need every arrow in their quiver. (2/4)

@johnruhlman Bills have been filed. We're hopeful that we'll be able to pass a clean bill on sports gambling but no guarantee. Stakeholders have also filed an initiative petition, which can put the issue to Missourians for a vote if enough signatures are collected.
@johnruhlman It has pretty broad support, but it has been hijacked as a bargaining chip for more controversial gambling legislation. I assume it gets refiled in January. I hope we can get a clean version passed in 2021.
