Restaurant owners cannot even get a meeting with the Governor. Very sad. No hearing. They worked years to build their businesses and now totally ignored. This should never ever happen in an open society

I am drafting legislation to reimburse restaurant owners who spent money and relied on Governor Murphys word that they could reopen tomorrow. They deserve to be reimbursed by the government.
Restaurants and bars must be given a date when they can open. They need a date. Other businesses as well. Governor Murphy owes that to business owners.
All liquor licenses renewal fees should be WAIVED for ONE YEAR year for all bars and restaurants.
The State Assembly meets this Thursday and should take over the reopening process and provide transparency to the businesses that cannot get answers from the Governor.
Since the Governor will not meet with the hard working owners of restaurants, the legislature must meet in special session to listen to all parties concerning a safe reopening. This is what an open society is all about.
Small business owners have not been permitted to testify before the Governor so that they can make out their case for safe reopening. They should be permitted to have experts testify on their behalf. The Governor holds daily press events but NOT ONE HEARING. Show them respect.
I have asked the Murphy administration to keep bars and restaurants open on the evening of Super Bowl Sunday until 11 pm so patrons can enjoy the evening. I actually believe there are many other steps to assist small businesses but no hearings are being held...NONE
Insurance companies should never be allowed to get in between doctors and their patients. Insurance companies should NEVER make medical treatment decisions. The insurance industry will continue their attacks against pro consumer lawmakers.
Today at 3 pm I will hold an open discussion with doctors, dentists, restaurant owners, hair salons and others on how to reopen New Jersey safely. Residents should be able to hear from experts and business owners in a public forum. Assemblyman Jon Bramnick Facebook Live
