This case highlighted how Georgia Republicans continue to dilute and disenfranchise Black voters through the absurd hybrid district/at-large statewide election process.
I am proudly part of the pro-choice majority in this country, and will always fight to protect abortion rights and to push back against efforts to put these decisions in the hands of government, instead of with us and our doctors, where it belongs.
It has been a campaign waged on the backs of African Americans and working class citizens throughout the United States. And, it is a campaign that has been cravenly endorsed by the Roberts Supreme Court.
This dilution of Black voting power directly violates Section Two of the federal Voting Rights Act, an act meant to protect people who want to vote and have their voices heard.
As millions of Americans and citizens around the world march for equality and the belief that #blacklivesmatter, the Secretary of State and the Republican Party has been desperately fighting to retain its control through divisive, illegal and highly immoral tactics.
