Growing up in the Northeast, I have been a champion for rapid transit on the Boulevard since I was old enough to understand public transportation. Now, as an elected official, I continue to use my platform to advocate for it. 1/2 https://t.co/METOKN8ZSF
In response to the I-95 fire and collapse, @SEPTA is finalizing details of an immediate service plan for tomorrow morning. SEPTA is adding capacity on the Trenton, West Trenton, and Fox Chase Lines. That means additional cars on scheduled trains.
Philadelphia does not get its fair share of national infrastructure funding because we do not have a big enough vision to do big projects. Let<U+2019>s change this now! @BlvdSubway https://t.co/CKOmlAsGJS
The Northeast can no longer wait to be connected to jobs, opportunities, and the rest of the city. We must push collectively to bring rapid transit to Roosevelt Boulevard. https://t.co/MdfGa0Xs9V
In response to the I-95 shutdown, @SEPTA will run 3 extra Trenton Line trains during the AM + PM rush today: AM: 6:40 AM and 8:03 AM from Trenton, plus 8:25 AM from Holmesburg Junction PM: 3:05 PM from Suburban Station to Holmesburg Junction, plus 4:30 PM and 5:20 PM to Trenton
If the Roosevelt Boulevard project is done right, it could be one of the nation's most beautiful public works projects. Join me in signing the petition to bring rapid transit to @BlvdSubway here: https://t.co/sPHKPiKYyx
Bringing rapid transit to Roosevelt Boulevard is about connection <U+2014> it means access to jobs, to healthcare, to opportunity, and the rest of our city. Other major cities are doing large-scale infrastructure projects and we can too! https://t.co/c4kKNNXHFf
RT @PhilaParking: Due to the current closure of I-95, complimentary parking is available at the below PPA-operated @SEPTA train station lot<U+2026>
First proposed in 1913, a Roosevelt Blvd rapid-transit line has been proposed and studied multiple times.A subway was considered so inevitable in the 1960s that a station was built. 120 years in the making, and we<U+2019>re so close! Join us tomorrow to finally make @BlvdSubway happen! https://t.co/GW4DE0OphW
