I continue to implore, advocate, press .@OregonGovBrown to allow restaurants and bars to reopen no matter where in the state. I believe the owners/mgrs know best how to comply with guidelines and remain safe. #orpol #COVID

I'm not gonna lie. I'm a little bit depressed tonight. I have received emails from several restaurants and other businesses in my district who will be closing, some for good. It hurts that I can't do anything to help them. They have to lay off workers, some are family. 1/
Independent restauranteurs and other businesses have been put in an impossible situation by Governor Brown. #orpol #lockdowns #OpenOregon https://t.co/8HO66hmRcc

@kcwithycombe The folks in charge do a great job, they're just a bit overwhelmed right now. I do wish the grocers hadn't fought so hard to get it out of their stores. I preferred going there. To me the bottle bill is a tax with no benefit. I give mine away to avoid the effort to take back.
@ORobHarris @Oregon_GOP Not the history that we have seen over the last 120+ days. More importantly, my presser speaks to the "NOW?" the governor declares an emergency? Now? I hope she considers asking the business owners in downtown how they feel. #toolate
@NVGOPAssembly @BrianHibbetts Thank you @BrianHibbetts for this common sense legislation. Online cigar companies are stealing profits from local stores. As a cigar smoker I can't thank you enough.
@realvickig @OregonGovBrown That's all well and good but unless you and others are willing to step in and pay the daily/weekly fines for the business, that's not the answer. The business has to decide if they can afford the fines or stay closed. That's why I urge the Gov to make the move.
