Gas is similarly high in Britain, Israel and Australia. Ironically this is the exact opposite of elections having consequences. https://t.co/Gsss0gOBS2

@kgittins @jayblackisfunny The president doesn't set energy prices. Just saying "we'll have lower prices" is not a policy. And Trump does not have "just as many" credential economists supporting his plan. Not remotely. And the ones signing Harris' letter are Republicans, Democrats, etc.

@kgittins @jayblackisfunny We have more supply than ever, in the history of the world. Another article below. And separately, would lower gas prices really be worth electing a guy who launched a violent coup and wants to arrest "the enemy within"? https://t.co/ULJ0WSmKWp

@Kristijan1725 @4Mischief Gas is about $3.50 per gallon on average now, and I'd happily pay more to have a president that respects democracy.

@RyanandBess @IngrahamAngle Wow. Great point. We have some eighth-wing, industry funded shill for the fossil fuel industry versus all of the worlds leading scientists. Obviously, you<U+2019>d want to believe the former.

@Schreibee Ukraine has stopped some cross-border energy transfers, but has not shut off the pipeline. They are in a tough position. The countries they need to keep getting arms and other assistance from have made it clear they need the gas to keep coming. Hopefully, this will change.

@LizHWrites Well, we aren<U+2019>t any less energy independent than we were before (source below). And I<U+2019>m all for developing our green energy to make ourselves truly independent. But Biden has nothing to do with gas prices. https://t.co/hxxqpCu4aw<U+2026>
