@shabrittnaynay @OLearySW Fair enough, but are your friends/you buying newly built homes or existing ones? When I hear someone refer to a housing market boom I perceive a lot of newly constructed homes. Where do you live? In Charleston, you can get a lot of good deals due to a decline in property values.

@JVWVU1 I believe something else must attract them to want to move here and they will find the lack of personal inc. tax an added bonus. Mountains, rivers and scenery is not enough. Not when they have to drive by so many dilapidated, old and depressing structures to get to these areas.
