If youre waking up w/o power its because Eversource did not have a single crew in our community (& many others) overnight. That means we still have downed wires all over, roads are inaccessible to 1st responders & we are DAYS from residential restoration. Beyond unacceptable.

When you’re saying people need to accept that power could be out for up to 10 days *before* the storm even hits, you clearly need a more “massive” presence. Please Joe - order more crews now, not when my constituents have been sitting in the dark for days. https://t.co/4Iezi9cClI

Met with Eversource today with @GovNedLamont @SenBlumenthal @RobinComey & FS Cosgrove. Bottom line: I'm grateful for what they're doing to restore power but they need to do more. By tomorrow some Branford families will have had no power 9 of last 24 days. They deserve a credit. https://t.co/e5TsfPArO1

@MsDanaL @GovNedLamont Having grown up in a family where every little bit helped, yes I do. State government can<U+2019>t solve the underlying issue of why gas prices are high but we could do something to make it less bad for people.
