Just joined @GovNedLamont at Bio-Med Devices in Guilford where he placed an order for 100 of the ventilators they make and thanked the employees for working 7 days a week to keep with demand. Our town and CT should be very proud of the life-saving work they are doing! https://t.co/Ixia66YhJI

One year ago today @GovNedLamont signed our bill making mental health parity the law of land. Because of it, no one in CT can be treated differently when it comes to insurance because they have a disease of the brain instead of a disease of the body. https://t.co/oASoHOcxcJ

The inventors of insulin sold the patent for $1 A vial costs just $5 to make And yet today in CT the average cost of a vial is $300-$400 That's just plain wrong and today @MattLesser and I are chairing a hearing on our bill to cap insulin and insulin supplies at $100/month

When the story is written of how CT responded to COVID better than most states @JoshGeballe will be a main character He’s the last person to want credit but he deserves a ton & we were so fortunate as a state to have him helping steer the ship through rocky waters the last 3yrs

In the summer of 2020 I worked with @MattLesser to pass the strongest insulin affordability law in the US. On Saturday, that law took effect. From now on, the cost of insulin will be capped at $25/month and supplies will be capped at $100/month for fully insured residents.
