Brings back fond memories! I’m watching movie “The Way We Were” with Robert Redford and Barbara Streisand which a large part of was produced at my alma mater Union College. I got $50 a day as a wardrobe man during each day of filming on campus. One of the best jobs I ever had!

🇺🇸 Very sad to learn of the passing of my friend, a tremendous patriot, and a member of that "Greatest Generation of Americans," Dr. Tom Smith of Glenville, 96, a World War II Battle of Iwo Jima hero. I was proud to induct Dr. Tom into the NYS Senate Veterans Hall of Fame. RIP. https://t.co/oSx8MJ4me2
🎉🎂📻Happy 100th Birthday @810WGY!!! WGY has truly touched the lives of countless people in the greater Capital Region and the northeast in a positive way. I presented live on the air today to @WGYMornings a NYS Senate Resolution I passed honoring WGY’s century of excellence. https://t.co/hjV6HDNAaw

🇺🇸 As we celebrate Independence Day this weekend, I participated in a ceremony at St. John the Baptist cemetery in Schenectady to dedicate a headstone for Civil War veteran Private David Mountain, who for about a century & 1/2 has been in an unmarked grave. We honor his service. https://t.co/hz3D2f7Cqf
Today's the 75th anniversary of Battle of Iwo Jima where 7000 Americans died in World War II. I sponsored a NYS Senate resolution to remember the battle & joined Iwo Jima veterans Sal Famularo, Dr. Tom Smith, Ambrose "Cowboy" Anderson & Thomas Lemme at HomeFront Cafe in Altamont https://t.co/CBcDF0ZjBC
"December 7, 1941 a date which will live in infamy," as FDR called the attack on Pearl Harbor which led the U.S. into World War II, 79 years ago today. I'll never forget visiting Pearl Harbor a few years back with Mary and seeing the USS Arizona Memorial (pictured here) https://t.co/gdu7rxBGvN
Today is @810WGY 100th anniversary which we celebrated. Tomorrow at 8:05 am, I’m going to be on @WGYMornings 50 years to the day of my last @UnionCollege basketball game. In the @dgazette photo below is me holding a radio I got from WGY in honor of my final game. Tune in tomorrow https://t.co/39sJtoJ1yr
Glenville Memorial Day commemoration. It was special to see the banners of all of our hometown heroes including my friends, World War II Battle of Iwo Jima veterans Sal Famularo and the late Dr. Tom Smith, who we recently lost. We will always remember their service. https://t.co/rWZkLUFaeu
