It’s disappointing to see the Senate willing to walk away from a bill that can save the environment and lives. If you can’t put in a landfill safely, it’s not worth doing at all.

@cooljeanius I spent my honeymoon in Japan. No public trash cans, so we asked, and apparently there was a bombing in a public trash can, so they got rid of them, and you just bring your trash home or hand it back. It was wild to hear about an inconvenient change for public safety.
