All the feelings to represent WV for the next week in <U+0001F1EB><U+0001F1F7> while seeing IRL what a low carbon future can look like. https://t.co/nqjNYTEowX

I’m voting no on all of the garbage bills this week and deleting Twitter from my phone for just as long. I need a break.

Also not ready for WV vs EPA decision to drop this week. The insane weather events we see, yet many of our constitutional officers don<U+2019>t believe in climate change. Embarrassment that leads to much worse.

Thankful to NCEL for this award, & more grateful for the people of West Virginia that trust me to represent them. As the world changes to address the climate crisis, we must ensure a just transition with West Virginians @ the table, not on the backs of our coal communities. https://t.co/iaE44gzEbF

It<U+2019>s incredibly clear that there is not a single member of the WV State Senate focused on decarbonization (or sees any value to it??) or even mentioning cost burdens on ratepayers, just furthering fossil fuels.

Every single GOP in House Energy voted for a NEW 30% TAX on farmers, families, and businesses owning property with passive income from carbon sequestration. Imagine that? https://t.co/8zejaFe5Tl

Learning about consent-based siting in Canada where environmental decisions place the communities at the center of decision-making whether than having a public comment/hearing portion. I love this approach and think it<U+2019>s something WV and the whole US should consider.
