@cindywaitt @amethystarlight @eliowa @AmberForIowa That is more than twice as many people as have died in accidents on Iowa roads so far this year, which is a constant freak-out for state government officials, who spend hundreds of millions every year on traffic and road safety (justifiably so, BTW).
@hinsonashley @Abby4Iowa Too busy? As chair the Iowa House Transportation Committee was always "too busy" to talk with Iowans and work with members of her own committee on important issues like car safety for children.
@tdorman Last times I checked Iowa DOT was making use of these monies along interstate corridors.
