Great job and focus by the Assembly's new Agriculture Committee chair @AsmRobertRivas at today's hearing on the impact of wildfires on California agriculture. So glad to have Sonoma's Kara Heckert and Karissa Kruse provide testimony. https://t.co/QzUMeUVEa7

We continued our campaign’s Statewide Consumer Listening Tour in Bodega yesterday at Casul Ranch. Che Casul is a 7th generation rancher and a fire mitigation expert protecting his family’s land and his community from potentially devastating fire damage. (1/5) https://t.co/MEyQ1P6WWz

@JessieLosch Thank you for the kind words, Jessie. I also have a couple of rescues, but no space in the bio to share about Socks (Marin Humane Society) and Maverick (Kern Project.) Here's a pic of Mav after a very long hike this morning. He did great! https://t.co/CwWUMsGHqc

Do you like locally grown and raised food? AB 888 would allow for the processing of livestock for consumption on ranches where the livestock were raised to be sold directly to the consumer. It's the opposite of factory farming. 9/
