What must be said: We need to reinstate Shelter-in-Place with few exceptions for many areas of Ca. Now. We cannot reopen again until a sharp decline in infections and better test, track, trace and quarantine ability. We must increase wrap-around care for the vulnerable.
Being a dad is a great responsibility and the greatest joy in my life. Words cannot express my thanks to mamma Melba for being such a caring partner. I hope all the Fathers out there feel the same blessings as they reflect on this parental journey of life, learning and love. https://t.co/k7dmmw8iqo
Many thanks to all the organizations and people who are selflessly serving the needy in our community. While some sleep, you work; while some worry, you act. Heroes rise up at moments like this. Thank you! @WhitePonyEx #SOULSaturday #TeamJoe https://t.co/3cnur41hPE
2nd night of PSPS blackout. No wind in our neck of the woods. Take-out burritos, candles and many blessings for first responders on alert. I hope the frail and vulnerable are safe. But seriously folks, we have to do better. We are Californians; resilient, innovative, determined. https://t.co/LiwTzjpyl3
The recall election is a partisan power grab and forces the state to spend $215 million in taxpayer dollars that could have been used to: * help our children catch up in school * get the homeless off the street * prevent wildfires * help those hurt in the pandemic. #BallotInMail
The congressional stimulus provides $2400 for a childless couple-only $1700 for single parent with one kid. Weve made the same mistake with the woefully low Ca renters tax credit; $120 for a couple- only $60 for single parent. If were helping based on burden, this is backwards.
