He didnt. He said he lived in an apartment with his family in Delaware that later became section 8 housing. He literally said it became section 8 later. Try again. https://t.co/vzyHATC9xZ
Rent is due today and a lot of families wont have the money to cover it. Ideally, wed have an eviction moratorium, and banks & mortgage companies would give property owners a break too. Meantime, if you know of resources for folks who need it, please share it here
Why? Seriously, @GovStitt <U+2014> why? Housing stock is a serious issue in so many of our communities & there<U+2019>s been a real bipartisan effort of late to combat that issue and the overarching issues that underly homelessness. Why are you doing this? https://t.co/Ca9dDp2HXm
We have an opportunity - and I'd argue a moral obligation - to hit the reset button on a lot of things that make life arbitrarily hard for struggling families. I'm diving into Oklahoma's landlord/tenant laws ahead of next session to see what we can do. https://t.co/T5rpQN9op1
Glad that many cities are taking action, but we need leadership from the top to be proactive. After years of neglect by the state, our rural communities absolutely cannot handle a COVID surge its time for Gov. Stitt to take serious action. https://t.co/wCPhTvkNO0
There<U+2019>s nothing quite like watching @KOCOdamonlane draw a circle around the scariest looking spot on his danger map, noting that your house is inside that circle while he repeatedly says <U+201C>this has my concern<U+201D>
The governor wants his legacy to be a new mansio<U+2014>oops I mean, <U+201C>private residence.<U+201D> But this seems like a better legacy for him, so let<U+2019>s help him achieve it next Tuesday! https://t.co/IStXP5FjIk
Having kids, buying a house, saving & investing for the future—these things and more happen much sooner for so many people if the weight of student debt is lifted. The positive societal & economic impact of it outweighs any argument otherwise. https://t.co/80aslPTWXy
Thrilled to see more affordable housing going up in the heart of OKC — doesn’t hurt that it’s in the greatest house district in Oklahoma (mine!) either. https://t.co/MuFYvEiH1T
