RT @Josh_Moon: It is also sadly worth noting, again, that Bubba Wallace, like all drivers, never entered the garage area or saw the noose.&

Burying all power lines would be a great stimulus project to put people back to work & make things safer during extreme weather. Building a reliable, robust, fixed-rail mass transit system so folks can get where they need to go on days like this would be another good one.

The US is so far behind on high speed rail that a nat’l effort to catch up would: create hundreds of thousands of construction jobs, thousands of permanent jobs, give travelers a more environmentally friendly way to get around, & connect us all in a way we’ve never been before. https://t.co/KQAmiZRqe9

Oh c<U+2019>mon. The same folks who propose this would say no, & cite the cost, to an OKC-Tulsa passenger rail line. That cost? $1 billion. We know that 1) more lanes DO NOT make traffic safer/faster and 2) mass transit spurs economic development & creates jobs. We shouldn<U+2019>t do this. https://t.co/HYUYJwpHlQ

Our nation’s infrastructure—health, transportation, energy, safety net—has been stress tested over the last 12 months & we have seen so many areas that need serious reform & repair. This should be the top priority for fed, state, county, & local gov’t until we’re better prepared.

I ride from 54th & Walker to downtown multiple times a week, and I am thrilled to see this. The bike lanes alone were great, but cars often park or drive on them. This is what cyclists need to feel safe. I cant wait to use these lanes this weekend. Good work, OKC. https://t.co/HCE491Ozci
