Thanks to @Reuvencarlyle @SenSaldana @derekstanford @MarkoLiias @andybillig and many other @WASenDemocrats for the hours of hard work passing a clean fuel standard last night. Much hard work remains but this is a huge milestone in WA's road to a clean energy future.

A federal infrastructure plan that doesn't invest substantially in the transition away from fossil fuels is worse than doing nothing at all. Let's not miss this window of opportunity. @PattyMurray @SenatorCantwell @RepJayapal @POTUS @VP

I'm excited about this big energy storage project that will go a long way to taking us to 100% clean electricity, which now is going to be built using union labor. This is the kind of project our hard-fought state clean energy laws are delivering. #waleg https://t.co/9sECwuTex0

HB 1767 by @AlexRamel would've expressly allowed public electric utilities to offer incentives to help customers switch from gas or oil heat to electric heat. No mandates, just incentives, but gas industry & its allies fought it hard & the bill fell short. @climatesolution

@ae_coalition I'm sorry, I must have missed something. Are homes in Seattle going to start using coal for heating if new gas hookups stop?
