King County is ready for public broadband. 📡📶 We already have internet available across the County, but it's not very fast or affordable in underserved areas. It's time to treat broadband as a public utility, much like European nations do

@SmokedLenses YES - I'm proud to have written the first bill in the nation to curtail facial recognition usage in surveillance. Companies producing this technology don't care about moral implications, which is why legislators need to step in and hold them accountable.
