I voted no on House Bill 6. By signing the Discharge Petition for House Bill 738 (Skindell/O'Brien), I am the first Republican to join 31 of my colleagues in calling for an immediate repeal of the nuclear bailout bill (House Bill 6).
I believe nuclear power is important to Ohio because it provides 15% of our clean energy BUT using $60M from a single company to provide a $1 Billion bailout to that same company (as alleged by the FBI) is NOT how Ohioans think government should work. Period.
