When coal &amp; gas plants failed over Christmas, it was solar power that stepped up to keep the rolling blackouts from being worse. Investing in renewables is an investment in NC, and we owe it to folks to make sure we have a stable, diverse energy grid that can withstand anything.

Like oil once supercharged Texas' economy, we have the chance to realize incredible economic benefits in NC by becoming a national leader in green energy. Wind &amp; solar are a once-in-a-generation opportunity to seize the future, but sadly Raleigh Republicans won't invest in it.
