Less than a week after many of my neighbors & I had power restored from #IceStorm2020 more than 12k Oklahomans have lost power again. Shows our current infrastructure is unreliable, and we need something better @OGandE. Cc: @PUDOCC

This is unbelievable. Another power outage in OKC. What is going on, @OGandE? We deserve answers. And dont tell me high winds. That is a given in OK. Cc: @PUDOCC
I’ve spent the hour texting neighbors, my dad, & friends notifying them about power outages as I lose power myself. I’m seeing lots of folks discussing direct communication to customers from @OGandE — I’ll keep asking for this because it’s so basic to serving customers.
Who knew I’d be tweeting so much about @OGandE? 😅 With that said, I’ve been concerned about the rolling power outages & requested info on the following: 1. Notify customers of planned outage in their area to prepare, 1/2
2. Limit / avoid outages to residential areas & those providing health care & warming stations, and 3. Tips on how customers can stay warm, not just conserve energy (do we turn our heat up until outage, etc? 🥴). Stay tuned & share info if / when you receive it. 2/2
I voted no b/c it’s bad public policy. Why would we do this to ourselves? Also, it’s totally fine for OK to do business w companies that choose alternative energy — which we have in OK. https://t.co/LVdZBIpJQy

19 days into the month of November and I have only had power for nine (9!!!) of those days. How about you? @OGandE https://t.co/K3YhrOg0K9
