@kryanjames @ArkansasPSC @MISO_energy And how long should these notifications be? Their primary obligation is to protect the grid. The moment load exceeds generation capacity, the remainder of the generators shut down and the grid fails. Time permitting, yes but lots of times not possible.
@kryanjames @ArkansasPSC @MISO_energy Safety is what shedding load is all about. Seconds count when load is nearing the generation capacity. Failure means very long restart times.
