The Governor issuing new real estate guidelines just a few hours after vetoing a bipartisan bill that would have done the same is an incredible act of arrogance and hubris. https://t.co/DBz820zirI

As I said on the #PASenate floor - We believe people can take on this challenge of reopening and do it in a smart way. We believe in the people of this state. We can do this. We trust that our communities have the ability to determine their own destiny. https://t.co/Mt30Jo7R4y

.@DHSgov named residential home construction as a key infrastructure need during #COVID19 emergency response. Tonight #PASenate leaders called on @GovernorTomWolf to reclassify PA residential home construction and included these employers as an essential business. https://t.co/ld212QAmmC

The Senate will move ahead this week with legislation that puts the power to open communities/employers into the hands of local decision-makers who know their area best. Counties will consult w/local emergency & health officials to make the best decisions for their communities.

I do wish that our other local counties could have joined Centre County in the yellow phase for #COVID19 reopening. I have repeatedly reached out to the Governor and asked him to consider moving away from his regional approach and look to counties. https://t.co/dHIJyjNueC

100% of the blame for these situations lies with Gov Wolf for making PA the only state in the nation to shut down real estate sales. It is troubling that it took him more than 2 months, countless letters & contacts and numerous vetoed bills to finally get this one thing right.

I am pleased the Centre County Commissioners have listened to the community and had a change of heart. This morning, they voted to request the Governor to move Centre County to green on May 29th. https://t.co/oG3ASsUkmr https://t.co/NANVSznpun

Local elected officials are hearing from neighbors instead of sitting in Harrisburg/on Mount Wolf. Instead of name calling, the Gov needs to follow our lead and engage w/ local elected officials - the best measure to know if communities can safely return to their livelihoods

Governor said he thinks Centre County has done a phenomenal job in staying safe and could move to green, Commissioner Pope and Higgins chose you keep community shuttered. https://t.co/XIgPHoRqna

Those of modest means are paying 2 mortgages during this crisis because they havent been able to sell their old home after buying a new one. Others are forced to live in hotels or worse for months because they were unable to close on their new home after selling the old one.
