@pdubl22 @Facebook Free speech is a PITA and a fundamental and important right that must be protected. But also totally irrelevant to this issue despite Zuckerberg trying to cite it as an excuse.
@mikiebarb @SangerNYT Not sure why you perpetuate the idea that Americans are protected by first amendment rights on Facebook. Legally, they are not. Ita a private platform. Its the choice of the company to allow their users to post misinformation with impunity.
@ezraklein Gender, yes. But also Russia. And facebook. (I think fewer people pay as close attention to Facebook these days. Or I hope that anyway.)
