Last week, I voted to ban AI-generated "intimate images," commonly known as AI revenge porn. As access to artificial intelligence grows faster than regulation can keep up, AI-generated nude images of real people pose a serious threat to Hoosiers. While revenge porn is already banned in Indiana, AI-generated images are not included under that law. House Bill 1047 closes a loophole to ensure that this new and largely unregulated technology isn't used to violate a person's privacy, security, or dignity.
