My family owned a restaurant next to Washington Square Mall for 30 years, so when I say I understand the urgent need to get new businesses on the Eastside, I know what I'm talking about. I'm grateful to say we've had some success as a community - from Chic-fil-a and Culver's, to the redevelopment of the Navistar and Ford plants on Brookville Rd - there's a lot to be proud of on our side of town. Of course, the work must continue. That's why I'm so grateful to receive the endorsement of the Indy Chamber. If given the opportunity to serve my neighbors for another two years, I will continue to prioritize responsible economic development and work hard to make the Eastside and Beech Grove the booming business centers they once were!
