The GOP senate bashing the GOP house last night for not working late. Like the kid that skipped class all semester and shows up the day before the final exam and wants extra credit. Rep Burrows set the record straight on number of bills and hours worked by each body. DP Ego..ugh https://t.co/sQlaZ4RXb5

Farmers, Landscapers, Construction companies (Cement? Plumbing, Carpenters, Roofers) Restaurants, Hotels, etc.. ALL experiencing labor shortages. Could use the travel money to help process the Venezuelans seeking asylum thru the H1B visa program to fill labor shortages in Texas.

Good news from Charter Communications: As more people work from home they are boosting minimum wage to $20/hour to support employees as they work hard to keep folks connected. Charter has 12,000 employees in Texas and is hiring now! https://t.co/3hv4uDnMim

@Eric03824326 Per TWC, regarding implementation of the new Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, we hope it is sooner rather than later. We cant give any sort of timeframe yet though. Were still waiting on the federal Dept. of Labor to provide guidance on how states will need to implement it.

@imnotdramatic Call volumes at TWCs Tele-centers and web traffic to TWCs online Unemployment Insurance application system remain at historically high levels. For instance, Thursday of last week, over 1.7 million calls were made to TWC the previous high-volume number was 60k calls in one day.

@imnotdramatic TWC has signed an agreement to open two third- party call centers the first will provide an additional 100-150 call center operators and the second will provide up to 200 additional operators. TWC is working with AT&T to add more lines to call centers capacity.
