Im sitting on the couch as I type this contemplating if I want to go for a walk in my neighborhood. Ive never done that before. Its time to open up. Open our hearts, open our eyes, open our ears - hear the cries of the black man. Unite together to fight this injustice.

Historically for me,one of the perks of being big and black is that I dont feel unsafe when I jog at night. So, because Im big and black, my wife feels safe to go out at night because Im with her - but it would be something she wouldnt do by herself.
Makes sense. Im used to that. However, that dynamic has changed for me. When my wife does not feel like walking outside, I find myself using the treadmill& Because I feel safer with my wife next to me than by myself because Im big and black.
